The label problem

The number on the box is not the number in the phone.

A battery case loses energy twice: once inside the cell, once across the wireless coil. Most of the category quotes the cell and hides the losses. We publish both, and we let the delivered figure do the selling.

Every unit is aged on a charging rig before it is packed. The box carries the rated cell capacity; we publish the measured capacity next to it and can send you the test report — same cell, same batch, same test bench.

Not a trading company

We own the moulds, the line and the test bench.

Seven moulds cover fifteen iPhone models. Every case is aged, then checked for coil alignment before it is boxed. When a new iPhone ships, we cut a new mould — not a new supplier relationship.

Asked every week

Twelve answers, no asterisks.

How much charge does the Slim 2500 really add?

About 32% on an iPhone 17 and about 28% on a 17 Pro Max, calculated from the measured cell capacity (2,100 mAh, or 2,600 mAh on Pro Max models). The bigger the phone battery, the smaller the share.

Why do you publish a capacity lower than the number on the box?

The 2,500 mAh on the box is the rated capacity of the cell. On our bench the same cell delivers 2,100 mAh, so we publish both, plus the charge it adds to each iPhone. A lot of listings print a peak rating, or a number nobody ever measured. The gap between a big number on the box and what reaches the phone is exactly what we are trying to close.

Will it work if I already use a screen protector?

Yes. The lip sits 0.6 mm above the glass and clears tempered glass up to 0.4 mm thick.

Does it block the camera or the buttons?

No. The camera is fully covered by a raised 0.8 mm bezel, and button cut-outs are moulded per model — we do not share one shell across two generations.

Can I charge the phone and the case at the same time?

Yes. Plug USB-C into the case and it passes through to the phone while topping itself up. 18W in, 22.5W out over the cable.

How long does the case take to recharge?

About 2.5 hours from an 18W USB-C charger. It stops at 100% and does not trickle, so the cell is not held at full voltage overnight.
